Kodi is an award-winning free media player app for Android phones and tablets.

Have you ever wanted to watch your favorite TV shows and movies stored on your media player PC on your TV? Now you can with Kodi!

Kodi is an amazing free open-source app that lets you use your phone or tablet to control your PC and enjoy all of your media on your TV, tablet, or anything else that can connect with the app. It’s important to note that Kodi itself doesn’t have any content, it just accesses your media library and can read from your DVD/Blu-Ray drives on your machine.

What files will Kodi open? Just about anything! Pictures, music, videos, and even some streaming media like M3U files and others so you can watch live TV from your cable provider – just ask them for the location of the file so you can stream it to any device connected to the app.

Kodi also allows you to install third-party plugins that give you access to other content; these plug-ins may offer unlicensed or pirated content and could be in violation of the law depending on where you’re located. While Kodi supports the usage of third-party plug-ins, they don’t condone piracy and if you run into any kind of issue stemming from the usage of these plug-ins they won’t help you.

It’s also important to note that Kodi may not work well with devices with smaller screen sizes (less than 5”). If you’re running an older Android phone or tablet that’s smaller than 5” you might want to use something else like VLC or Media Player Classic instead. It’s important to note that the interface is designed to stream to screens up to 10’ wide (that’s about 3 meters), so you’ll be able to use this even on the largest home theaters!

One minor issue with the app is the fact that some of the more advanced options are hard to configure. Most users will be able to just get the app running and connect their TV with a Kodi Stick, but if you want to do more advanced things like manually streaming live fights or news events you’ll need to read up on tutorials to get that done.

All in all, Kodi offers a great experience and lots of interesting options for enjoying your media, but some things can be difficult to do without plug-ins.
